The above-mentioned regulations govern the confidentiality of personal data and impose a series of obligations on those who process information relating to other individuals. Among the obligations to be complied with is the duty to adequately inform the natural person to whom the data relate (the “Data Subject”) about the use of their data, so that consent to processing is freely given and unambiguous.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
Processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, comparison or interconnection, restriction, erasure or destruction.

The video surveillance system is necessary to protect the company’s assets. Any behaviour that may damage company property may be reported to the law enforcement authorities and prosecuted in accordance with applicable law.
The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
Video cameras are installed in the common passage areas of the property located at Via Galli 19 – Levanto (SP) and in the external areas belonging to the property.
Images are recorded on a hard disk protected against unauthorised access.
The presence of video cameras is clearly indicated in accordance with current regulations.
The cameras record images even in low-light conditions and do not record audio.
Access to recorded images is permitted only in exceptional circumstances, such as criminal events. Each access is logged in order to verify and demonstrate the lawfulness of the processing of personal data.
Personal data are retained for 24 hours, unless otherwise required by law, for example during periods of business closure, which may result in a longer retention period.
The Data Subject may request the Data Controller to:
access their personal data (Art. 15 EU Regulation 679/2016 – GDPR)
update or supplement data that have changed (Art. 16 GDPR)
rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
erase data or request the right to be forgotten, where applicable (Art. 17 GDPR)
restrict processing, for example where data are excessive with respect to the purposes pursued (Art. 18 GDPR)
obtain data portability, i.e. transfer data to another controller without costs (Art. 20 GDPR)
object to processing for legitimate reasons (Art. 21 GDPR)
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), following the procedures published on the official website www.garanteprivacy.it (Art. 51 GDPR)
Personal data will not be disclosed and will not be transferred to third countries or international organisations.
Recorded images may be viewed in the event of criminal activities and may be provided to law enforcement authorities.
Data may also be accessed by external parties for technical maintenance purposes.
The updated list of subjects authorised to access the data may be requested from the Data Controller.
The exercise of rights is free of charge and not subject to any formal requirements.
Data Subjects may exercise their rights at any time by sending a registered letter or a PEC to the contact details of the Data Controller listed above.
